You see, this was once a very specific website with a very specific, and short-lived, mission. And, shall we say, mission accomplished! The recall is over, the news got out, and we all moved on. But then we started thinking about the phrase, “cars and backpacks.” It’s kind of amusing, these two nouns with virtually no relationship to each other. Who would think to use them in the same sentence (except maybe, “Hey, Joe, go put your backpack in the car before we leave for the camping trip.” But other than that.) The humor and the juxtaposition sparked the idea of re-purposing the site for general knowledge, general interest, and general fun. Here we have a fun place to organize all our ideas, from automotive repair to recipes, from environmentalism to movie trivia, from business issues to prehistoric artifacts: If someone is interested in it, we welcome the content and hope to promote interest in it as well.
